Container vessel Argus was chosen to test the high performance of Steelpaint compared to other primers.
Ships Crew had prepared the area for painting, using rustbus and HP washer. Not all coating was removed and at some places the old primer was still present.
On arrival GOS team used a bristle blaster for the rusty spots after which the whole area was washed again and dried prior application with brush and roller. Surface preparation guidelines for Manual Derusting: ST2 according to DIN 55928, Part 4 was used.
