Crystal Offshore requested for their client Transocean Polar Pioneer the cleaning of pontoons and bracings of marine growth Project involved 160 men and providing of scaffolding/welding services and full compliment of HP blasting machines, cherry pickers and workbarges and accommodation barge to house the crews. All under the management of GOS.
Also catering was provided by GOS for the 160 workers and supervisors staying on the accommodation barge.
A total of 30.000 square meter was cleaned to satisfaction and enabled the rig to be loaded on time and according schedule onto a heavy transport vessel in compliance with authorities on arrival.
